DIY Miniature Projects |
Furnishing your dollhouse does not have to be expensive. There are many things that you can make yourself, many using everyday items. Here are some ideas for using odds and ends for miniatures plus some sites with DIY projects.
Hints and tips:
Baking trays/cookware - The silver trays in make-up compacts make great cookware
Mirrors - The mirrors in make-up compacts can usually be removed easily. Depending
on their size, they can be made into bathroom and hall mirrors. (I have a long
one that is just right to make a cheval mirror with)
Sites with projects: Check the links page for other general dollhouse and miniature sites. These ones are listed here because I personally liked the projects on them and have made something of have plans to make something from there.
