| Early in the year 2003 | Hobart | This event sounds very interesting the Southern Ocean Model-Making Competition and Exhibition. The Maritime Museum of Tasmania has $10,000 available for the acquisition of a model(s). Follow the link for further information. |

| 13th and 14th October 2001 | Eden | It is anticipated that this will become an annual event and will feature models from all over the east coast of Australia. It will be held in conjunction with the Eden Whale Festival. |

| This is an annual Event and was last held on 28th and 29th July 2001 | Port Macquarie | This event has a wide range of boats including period ship models. Over the weekend some of Australia's finest model builders will be in attendance to offer advice and encouragement. Just follow the link to see more about this event |
| 5th and 6th May 2001 | Canberra | Primarily, this notice is to invite you to attend the exhibition as a spectator and to have the opportunity to meet like minded enthusiasts. |
